Blink 182:
Both digipaks are bright and colourful, following the conventions of the pop punk genre. This makes the digipaks very appropriate for the genre and will fit with what the audience expect. The top CD for Blink 182 has a cartoon version of the band members on it, this has a creative effect on the CD and is visually appealing for the audience. Both covers of the digipaks are busy and have the same basic idea of being colourful and have a cartoon effect.
New Found Glory:
The CD and cover are relatively colourful which follows the conventions of the pop punk genre. The CD itself has a contrast of blue and yellow which makes the CD stand out and establishes what the album is called. The front cover has a photo of 2 of the band members what seems like are play fighting. This is appropriate as its what the audience expect from the genre and for how the band to behave like as pop punk is such a care free and comical genre.
Green Day:
The CD and cover have a large contract of black and green. This follows the conventions of the pop punk genre as it is bright and is visually pleasing. There is also a picture of the band behind the CD. This establishes the band and makes it interesting for the audience.
Sum 41:
The CD and cover have a contrast of black and pink this follows the conventions of the pop punk genre as it catches the audiences attention due to it being bright and it is visually pleasing. However there are no picture of the band that you can see and it does seem a little dull for a pop punk band digipak.
